Let s go!Your mission Lead, develop, grow and thrive as the Engineering Manager of the team that builds Bitpanda Custody. A platform for safe storage of crypto assets and a window to the world of Decentralised Finance. What you ll do Planning & shape the roadmap for delivering a best-in-class crypto custody product at Europe s leading crypto platform. Drive technical decision making in systems design alongside your squad s tech lead and Principal Engineer Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure agile practices are effectively implemented and continuously improved. Work closely with other managers, stakeholders, and teams across the organisation to ensure that the microservices architecture aligns with the broader company objectives. Perform regular 1:1 with your team members to develop career plans and goals. Help your team to maintain resilience in periods of change and ambiguity Who you are You already bring a great track record working in the FinTech domain with bonus points for DeFi, Custody or Cryptography experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

You understand the basics of Blockchain technology, TypeScript and cloud computing. Exposure to C, Node.js or Rust is a plus.
You have the ability to lead teams effectively, provide guidance in ambiguous situations, influence technical discussions and are able to contribute to the development and future growth of software engineers Your experience in a technical leadership role is demonstrated with deep knowledge of the development of digital products, good understanding of software architecture all the way from experimentation to continuous improvement in an agile environment Familiarity with AWS, Hardware Security Modules, DevOps infrastructure, Cryptonodes, Smart Contract Development, Trading, Infrastructure-as-Code is a huge bonus What s in it for you Hybrid-working model with a 50/50 split between in-office and home, plus 60 Work From Anywhere days annually Total compensation package including participation in our Bitpanda stock option plan Competitive benefits programs and policies shaped by our flexibility-first philosophy
