Let s go!Your mission Lead the team that is responsible for all things Payments Experience from global providers like apple pay through to localising our product to give it that authentic look and feel for the millions of end users. What you ll do Define technical roadmaps, and work with a product manager to groom the backlog factoring in technical debt and prioritisation of impactful services. Lead, grow, and inspire your team to perform at the highest level, and successfully delivering their best in a fast-paced environment Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure agile practices are effectively implemented and continuously improved. Work closely with other managers, stakeholders, and teams across the organisation to ensure that the microservices architecture aligns with the broader company objectives. Perform regular 1:1 with your team members to develop career plans and goals. Help your team to maintain resilience in periods of change and ambiguity Who you are Already bring great track record working in the payments user experience domain and want to scale that to over 24 million+ end users. Have the ability to lead teams effectively, provide guidance in ambiguous situations, influence technical discussions and are able to contribute to the development and future growth of software engineers. Experienced in a technical leadership role with demonstrated deep knowledge of the development of digital products, good understanding of software architecture all the way from experimentation to continuous improvement in an agile environment. Capability to perform regular performance reviews and derive new development goals or improvement strategies. Hands-on personality, self-driven, somebody who likes to be involved rather sitting on the sidelines. Familiarity with PHP/Java, Angular/React, Javascript/Typescript, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, Apache Kafka, Message Driven Microservices is a huge bonus.
