Duties & Responsibilities

Xalts has been selected to participate in multiple government backed programs such as Digital Assets Lab in Qatar Financial Centre, Cyberport Incubation Program in Hong Kong etc.Responsibilities:Lead architectural discussions, drive high-level and low-level designs, provide mentorship to junior team membersDesign, develop, and maintain backend services with scalability, reliability, and performance in mindCollaborate closely with product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features with qualityCreate timelines and task breakdown for product requirements provided by product and business teams.Write clean maintainable code that is in accordance with xalts development guidelines and exhaustive unit tests for new backend functionality and systems.Requirements:Bachelor s or Master s Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in developing Software.Proven experience in software development with minimum 5 years of experience in either Javascript/Golang/Java.Hands on experience with Distributed Systems, Queues, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud services.Experience with working in Databases like Postgresql/MongoDB/DynamoDB.Strong proficiency in Data structures, Algorithms, OOPS, and database management systems.Knowledge of Test-driven Development, Refactoring, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong desire to solving complex and interesting real-world problemsNice to have:Prior experience working in large scale distributed systems at high growth startups that have experienced challenges of scaling with the fast evolving needs of the business.Prior experience build/operating cloud hosted infrastructure in distributedenvironments for services, data platforms and ML pipelines.Experience with leading team s or driving daily engineering scrums.Working at xalts:Be part of something exciting.
