Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are seeking a People Operations Manager to support our globally distributed remote team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. We value individuals with a professional, meticulous approach who can help scale our teams effectively. A positive attitude, strong ownership, and excellent communication skills are essential. At Scroll, we focus on building strong employee relationships and providing a great experience from onboarding to alumni status. Responsibilities: Oversee entire People Operations, from onboarding to off-boarding. Manage payroll, token administration, expense, contract management, HR vendors (EoR, work permits, visas), compliance, benefits, employee data, reporting, and HR systems. Take full ownership of HR policies and processes, continually refining workflows and automation. Stay informed on employment law and HR compliance to ensure Scroll s HR processes are up-to-date for our globally distributed teams. Act as the first point of contact for team members, addressing and supporting their needs. Organize and support People programs, team events, and offsites to foster a positive, engaging work environment. Collaborate with the People Lead and HRBP Lead to identify and deliver HR projects to enhance the employee experience. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in People Operations within a fast-paced environment. Fluency in both Chinese and English to effectively communicate with employees globally. Experience in dynamic industries like blockchain, deep tech, or global remote startups. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Comfortable using various tech platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new systems. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables. Strong team player, proactive, and able to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive and high-energy approach, able to manage complex relationships and difficult conversations. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and manage responsibilities autonomously, with flexibility in problem-solving and scheduling.
