Join our Crypto team to help integrate Kraken s systems with an ever-expanding universe of cryptocurrencies and blockchains. This team is responsible for developing & supporting crypto operations including deposits, withdrawals & staking.As a member of this team, your focus is on protecting client funds. You will be responsible for building systems that communicate with various blockchains to enable the timely processing of client transactions, while also ensuring the safety and security of all funds on the exchange.The OpportunityIntegrate our existing systems with exciting new blockchainsDesign and implement low-latency, high-availability, super secure applications and data protection systemsWrite highly scalable, high volume servicesWrite reusable, testable, and efficient codeDesign and optimize database schemasOwn, develop and maintain existing crypto servicesSkills you should HODL

Other

At least 6 years of backend development experienceStrong understanding of cryptographic concepts and experience with at least one blockchain ecosystemStrong proficiency with Typescript (Node.js) and/or RustProficiency in Docker and/or Kubernetes and comfort with GNU/Linux operating systemsKnowledge of accessibility and security compliance standards
