IdentDeFi is a new blockchain protocol that aims to build tools inside of tokens. Our team’s thesis is that the token layer of infrastructure has been overlooked and relatively under-explored. Our project originated after winning the ETHDenver 2022 Hackathon for DeFi. Since then, we have participated in DeFi Base Camp, Chainlink, and Binance’s accelerator programs and raised a $3M seed round.IdentDeFi’s initial focus is on building compliance tools inside of tokens, with the goal of bootstrapping compliant secondary markets across existing DeFi protocols. The core product is designed as an ERC-20 wrapper token. These wrapper tokens are represented by the .safe terminology (USDC.safe, DAI.safe, FRAX.safe, etc.) and are built to ensure that all parties in a transaction are compliant.
