  • 3+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in building, recruiting, and scaling marketing departments
  • Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams, with an ability to communicate business priorities, set goals, promote accountability and ownership
  • Proven management skills and the ability to inspire a culture of innovation
  • High level of technical aptitude to maximise the tools and leverage the social media platforms that are essential to marketing efforts
  • A passion for blockchain & crypto
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of business acumen
  • Abundance of marketing flair and creativity
  • Ability to feel and understand the wider Web3 crypto culture
  • Ability to be forward looking and project what the Web3 community are looking for
  • Advanced knowledge of large marketing tools and advanced AI marketing tools, in addition to the industry standard CRM and SEO tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, WebTrends, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set the foundation of the marketing department and define the vision of Nethermind’s marketing processes, strategy, and operational functions
  • Define, and ensure the execution of the end-to-end global marketing strategy, with localisation at it’s core and customer-centric storytelling
  • Research and assess the market and the company’s position in the Web3 ecosystem, and determine how and where the company should be positioned in the future
  • Develop the strategy to drive the organisation to that future market position and execute the strategy
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business goals, translating them into digital objectives/strategies
  • Establish short and long term marketing goals and objectives
  • Oversee the development and placement of the creative elements that position the company in the marketplace
  • Work closely with the product and sales team to raise the brand awareness, recognition and loyalty and turn marketing insights into sales
  • Direct the company’s public relations efforts
  • Oversee the company’s use of analytics platforms to understand customer preferences, priorities and patterns
  • Direct marketing campaigns and customer outreach via existing and emerging social media sites, as well as through traditional channels
  • Create, launch and manage multi-channel campaigns and initiatives, to drive organic acquisition & engagement
  • Plan and expand the marketing department, establishing ways of working, structures and delivery schedules
  • Own full-funnel responsibility for the marketing initiatives, brand and growth across all channels and platforms
