Desired Qualifications

• 8+ years total in partnerships/business development experience and relationships within the solar and home improvement space
• Creative and structured thinker who finds ways to unblock challenging problems
• Great commercial and product instincts
• Strong communicator comfortable presenting to senior executives internally and externally
• Data and analysis driven in all business decisions
• Incredibly responsive and solution-oriented
• Curious and creative, consistently seeking out ways to improve our partnerships and business
• Deep and varied experience as a deal maker and growth leader in business development and/or strategic partnerships
• Experience preparing industry analyses and presentations, and presenting to Executive Leadership, internal and external.
• Demonstrated success at partnering, prioritizing and balancing needs cross-functionally.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and apply your insights to identify impactful partnership opportunities for Figure’s Lending as a Service and Wholesale partnership platforms, focused initially on HELOCs
• Lead deal initiatives, determining the right approach, sizing and scoping the opportunities, identifying risks and ways to mitigate them, and driving the plan for execution
• Lead communications and serve as primary point of contact for partner relationships
• Work with product to develop new features to product to meet needs of partners and customers
• Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Figure and our partners
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a thought partner for product leaders on ways to create great experiences for Figure customers through partnerships
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations
• Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry offerings and provide strategies for success

About the Role Our Figure Lending team is looking for a dynamic, growth oriented leader who can help identify new business opportunities and secure partnerships with Solar, Green Energy and Home Improvement installers, contractors and manufacturers. In this role, you will build and grow a robust network and be responsible for sourcing and structuring as well as negotiating and implementing a strong portfolio of meaningful partnerships and business opportunities. Cross collaboration will be a pivotal part of the role with the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the company and with external partners as you develop and execute on partnership strategies.
