Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 2 years prior work experience at a tech company in a data-driven role (preferably consumer or blockchain space)
- A demonstrated interest in and passion for the creator economy, media, and blockchain technology
- Knowledge and experience using Artificial Intelligence tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with Dune and on-chain analytics tools
- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python etc and feeding into BI interfaces/dashboards e.g Tableau
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
- Have strong interpersonal skills and can easily connect with partners in product, tech, business, marketing and design
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Work extensively with the Lens Creator, Developer Relations and BD teams build, unify, analyze, and visualize data relevant for the Lens Protocol ecosystem
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track performance indicators and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Support the development of data-driven strategies for product and business initiatives.
- Leverage deep understanding of analytics and dashboards to drive the establishment of new data metrics for unique and innovative products in the DeFi and web3 social
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems.

About the role:
The Aave Companies is seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for blockchain technology and a strong desire to work in the exciting field of web3 social and decentralised finance (DeFi). This role will report to the Director of Data and will have a dotted line into the Head of Growth and Ecosystems.
