Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in QA management and leading QA teams in a startup environment, preferably for a social mobile application
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices
- At least 2 years previous experience working as a Quality Assurance Manager
- 5+ years QA testing mobile applications on iOS devices (Android a plus)
- Experience on projects using Rapid Application Development process - Agile / Scrum
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking
- Familiarity with tools like Testrails, Google analytics, firebase and datadog
- Experience with test automation is a plus
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage and lead more junior QA testers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure a high level of performance.
- Continuously assess and enhance QA processes and methodologies to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.
- Establish and maintain quality standards and best practices, ensuring that all products meet or exceed industry and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the planning and execution of test plans, test cases, and quality control processes to identify and address defects or issues in products.
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms across cellular phones and tablets.
- Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements and design test cases accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze user feedback and app store reviews to identify potential issues and improvements.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding the quality and stability of the applications.
