Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Enrolled or in the process of enrolling in the CPA program
- Strong time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Google Office, Microsoft Excel and advanced ERPs
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payables and vendor relationships including reviewing vendor invoices and preparing payment based on obtaining the appropriate approvals.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, crypto inventory, balance sheet, card transactions and other financial data and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with maintaining general ledger, delivering monthly, quarterly and annual financial close procedures.
- Support with documenting and improving accounting processes and internal controls. Help with identifying more effective ways to complete routine tasks.
- Assist with preparation of provincial, federal and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate.
- Participate in special projects.
