Desired Qualifications
- A recognised accounting qualification (CAT or equivalent) or working towards ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of using various online banking platforms
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Relevant experience in a similar role
Duties & Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices received
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Leading the accounts payable process
- Working closely with the Financial Controller to enable timely preparation of monthly management accounts and accompanying reporting for senior management
- Raising and issuing invoices to Elwood customers
- Being Elwood’s main point of contact with its banking providers
- Alongside the Finance Director and Financial Controller, working with Elwood’s financial auditor to enable smooth and timely completion of the annual audit process
- Assisting with finance related queries from other departments within the business
Soft Skills
- Experience of UK VAT reporting
- Previous use of NetSuite accounting software
